Windmill Nursery
Based in the Riccall Regen Centre, Windmill Nursery offers a safe, stimulating and happy environment for children from three months aged upto 5 years of age. Our aim is to allow each child to reach their full potential emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually. An Ofsted inspection in May 2009 found the nursery to be GOOD in all areas inspected! A re-vamped outdoor play area is now in full use. The indoor facilities have also recently been given a makeover.
The Baby Room
The baby room is a large, bright and welcoming room accommodating babies or toddlers aged from 3 months to 2 years of age.
The playroom offers many stimulating and educational toys and activities for children to enjoy.
Daily activities include imaginative and constructive play, hand/eye co-ordination toys, creative art and painting skills, sand and water play.
Experienced, qualified staff are trained to understand the importance of each child’s feeding and sleeping routines. In addition a daily chart is maintained showing each child’s activities and routine to assist the parent.
The Toddler/Pre-School Room
For children aged 2 to 5 years there is a large, bright and educational room. The activities held within the room are planned to meet the latest OFSTED Regulations.
