These are held at RICCALL REGEN CENTRE Landing Lane Riccall. The fee for a class is £48. Those on eligible benefits/allowances pay £5 only. Most classes are limited in size and EARLY BOOKING is strongly advised.

The Way of the Wolds

The chalk uplands from Flamborough to the Humber estuary with a unique native flora and interesting rural villages, is the basis for this study of its history, geology and settlement. Summer term visits will follow

T’ai Chi for Improvers

Tuesday from 7.00pm to 8.30pm for 8 weeks

T’ai Chi helps to improve balance, coordination, mobility and relaxation. Suitable for those with some experience of the 24 step method

Beginners can register and a separate class may be arranged.

Please bring flat shoes and loose clothing. Pre- booking is essential.

Crime & Punishment in 19th Century Yorkshire

Uncover Your Ancestry

Tutor: Susan Butler
Wednesday from 7.00pm to 9.00pm for 8 weeks
Starting 13th January 2010

Demonstrations with individual practical investigation of how and where to find out about the past. Basic computer skill is useful but not essential. Visit to a public Archive should help with follow up practical work.
