This is a large, bright educational room, accommodating 12 children.

Staff provide a broad and balanced Early Years Curriculum, allowing each child to develop at their own pace, so that they enjoy each day at Windmill Nursery.

Planned activities are set out to encourage learning through play and to stimulate both mind and language development.

Daily activities include imaginative and constructive play, creative art skills, sand and water play. We also encourage regular story and singing sessions, circle time and free play and rest.

Outdoor play and walks exploring the surrounding country side are part of our daily physical routine. Our large sports hall allows children to run off excess energy.

We actively encourage children to learn different cultures and religions and the children enjoy learning basic French vocabulary.

Children have free access to the computer every day helping to develop their ICT skills.

Children's skills and progress records are reviewed quarterly, ensuring that each child's needs are planned and updated efficiently.

Prior to children starting school we will liaise closely with the Reception teacher to ensure we are preparing your child for their next big step.
