Our well-equipped, OFSTED registered nursery is small and comfortable, a real home from home, where highly qualified staff ensure that children from 3 months to 5 years receive the quality of care discerning parents expect for their children.

At Windmill Nursery you will find that our prices are inclusive of:

meals including: breakfast, lunch and tea with a healthy mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack, ensuring children have five portions of fruit or vegetables each day.

nappies and wipes

daily outdoor and indoor exercise

All meals are freshly prepared on the premises, lunch being provided by our excellent catering department with the emphasis being on a nourishing, well-balanced and healthy diet.

Early Years Funding Vouchers and workplace vouchers are accepted.

Your child's safety is paramount whilst in our care. Playrooms are only accessible by nursery staff with keys and CCTV cameras operate in the main reception and outside the building.
All staff are subject to police and CRB checks prior to working in the nursery.

Windmill Nursery are currently working towards the North Yorkshire Quality Kitemark Assurance Scheme.

Recently awarded an over-all Good by OFSTED with outstanding for relationship with parents.
Staff are now using more than just words to communicate after a training course in Makaton vocabulary.
Used in the UK for more than 25 years, and in over 40 countries, the Makaton vocabulary is a well established language programme for encouraging and developing communication, using speech, signs and written symbols.
Makaton will help our children develop both literacy and numeracy skills in an enjoyable and fun way.

Windmill Nursery is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm, 51 weeks a year.
