WEA (Workers Education Association) is an independant Registered Charity that offers Adult Education Courses at local centres like the Regen Centre in Riccall. The Branch is run by local volunteers, a Secretary & Treasurer who decide on courses to interest local people.

Courses in 2007/08 include Practical Drawing & Painting (2 terms starts October 1 at 7pm): Autumn & Christmas Flower Arranging (starts October 3 at 7pm & February 20 at 7pm): History & Natural History of the Yorkshire Derwent(starts October 30th at 1.30pm and 15th April):Tai Chi (starts 15th January 08 at Methodist Church. Main St) Photography around the Ings (starts10th May 2008 for 5 Saturday mornings)
